RAY is the first microphone to use AURA, our sensor-based technology*. It continuously measures your distance opening up groundbreaking possibilities for interacting with your microphone. By continuously measuring your distance from the microphone, RAY can adapt your levels and tone on the fly. You can focus on your performance while creating flawless recordings for podcasts, content, live streaming, and music production. RAY is the first professional XLR microphone that comes with a MUTE button. You get clear visual feedback when MUTE is engaged and works fully analog, even when MUTE by Distance is activated. RAY’s compact and clever design makes it easier to show your face to the camera, read a script, or view a screen while using the microphone. There is no bulky pop filter or microphone covering your face or field of view. The shock mount protects your signal from structure-borne noise. The pop filter protects your signal from plosives during vocal recordings and attaches to the shock mount magnetically. RAY is a true condenser microphone with 3-pin XLR connector.
It powers all its features via 48V phantom power from your audio interface or mixer.
No additional power source is needed.
